MJ Massanet has been named the MIAA Hitter of the week. The 5-10 sophomore outside hitter is a native of Manhattan where she competed at Manhattan High School.
Massanet had three double doubles as University Nebraska-Kearney went 3-0 at home last week. She averaged 4.56 kills and 4 digs per set and hit .326. She had 15 kills and 10 digs against Missouri Western before adding 15 kills and 14 digs against Southwest Baptist. Against Missouri Southern she hit .429 with 11 kills and 12 digs.
University Nebraska-Kearney sports a 21-3 overall record, they are 13-0 at home and have a 7-2 conference record.
