You might have seen a bit of a strange sight walking along a road recently…. Specifically a man walking with a goat.

Dressed up in a reflective vest Scott Wescott leads his goat LeeRoy Brown (who is also loaded up with a satchel pack filled with essentials) down the highway, and is on a trek across the nation.

Wescott and Leeroy’s journey is for a cause. He’s raising money to build an orphanage in Africa.  The project is called Needle2Square, and hopes to raise $200,000 for the Uzima Outreach and Intervention located in Nairobi Kenya.

Wescott says he’s never had a barn animal before, but LeeRoy has bonded with him, and now follows where ever he goes.

In a recent tweet Wescott asks “is the Oz museum worth it to check out?”… So if you see him alongside the road today let him know your opinion!

For more information you can visit his website at needle2square.com.
