K-State appeared to be on their way to building a two sets to none lead lead at Baylor on Wednesday night, taking a 25-18 decision in the opener and leading 18-15 in the second frame.  But, the Bears stormed back to win 29-27, and finished the match by winning the final two sets over the Cats by the same margin of 25-20.  While both teams had 54 kills,  the match turned at the service line as Baylor had 10 aces compared to just two for K-State.  The Cats also piled up nine service errors to seven for the Bears, which was a total 10-point swing towards the Green and Gold.

Courtney Traxson led K-State with 14 kills, just one off her career high, and Dakota Kaufman had her 2013 best with 13 kills.  Katie Brand helped out with 38 assists and topped the Cats with 15 digs.  Kaitlynn Pelger led a good blocking night for K-State (14-6, 2-5) with eight stuffs.  Nicole Bardaji headed up the Baylor (10-13, 2-5) attack with 13 kills.

K-State will close the first half of the Big 12 schedule by hosting #1 Texas on Saturday at 7:30pm in the friendly confines of Ahearn Fieldhouse.  Pregame will begin at 7:00 on 1350kman.com, and NewsRadio 1350 KMAN will join the match right around first serve after Wildcat football.
