Anytime Fitness in Manhattan has been closed down by the Kansas Department of Revenue. That’s the word from Topeka, with an announcement that both the Manhattan and Newton locations were shut down due to more than 19-thousand dollars in unpaid sales and individual income taxes.
On-site cash, bank accounts, and business and personal assets belonging to the owner were seized. The owner has been identified as Joshua Gunderson.
According to revenue department authorities, the assets will be sold at a public auction.
The Manhattan location is in the 300 block of North Third Street.
