    Top Ranked Texas Sweeps K-State

    Bailey Webster and Haley Eckerman had nine kills each as #1 Texas defeated K-State in straight sets 25-11, 25-18, and 25-20 on Saturday night at Ahearn Fieldhouse.  The Longhorns took control from the start as they forced the Cats to hit negative in the opening set, and only a hitting percentage for the night of .050.  Texas (15-2, 8-0) would hit with a .345 efficiency.  Katie Brand, Dakota Kaufman, and Courtney Traxson each had six kills for K-State (14-7, 2-6).  Brand dished out 20 assists, Tristan McCarty had seven digs, and Kaitlynn Pelger had three blocks.

    K-State volleyball will stay at home on Wednesday night when Oklahoma comes to town.  First serve is at 7:00pm and pregame begins at 6:30 on NewsRadio 1350 KMAN.
