Kaitlynn Pelger registered 16 kills as the K-State volleyball team submitted their most complete effort of the season in a 25-13, 25-15, and 25-14 rout of West Virginia on Saturday night at Ahearn Fieldhouse. The Cats jumped out to a 13-2 lead in the first set, and never allowed the Mountaineers to gain any traction all night.

Katie Brand dished out 34 assists for K-State (16-8, 4-7), and Kersten Kober topped the team with 12 digs. Taylor Johnson blocked eight balls, giving her 18 over the last two matches.

West Virginia (17-10, 3-8) was led by nine kills from Jordan Anderson.

K-State volleyball will play their next match on Saturday at Kansas. First serve in Lawrence will be at 6:30pm, and pregame starts at 6:00 on 1350kman.com. NewsRadio 1350 will join the action in progress after K-State football.
