    K-State Volleyball Stops Baylor

    It was a block party for the K-State volleyball team on Wednesday night as they came up with 13 stuffs in a straight sets win over Baylor, 25-17, 25-17, 25-17 at Ahearn Fieldhouse.  Katie Brand and Kaitlynn Pelger each put up six blocks, while Taylor Johnson had five.  In a balanced night offensively with four players with at least seven kills, and Johnson and Courtney Traxson led the way with eight.  Brand dished out 25 assists, and Tristan McCarty topped K-State (17-9, 5-8) with 10 digs.  Adrien Richburg had nine kills for Baylor (12-18, 4-10).

    K-State will travel to Austin to face #1 Texas on Saturday afternoon at 4:00pm.  Pregame begins at 3:30 on NewsRadio 1350 KMAN.
