Suspect PicAn arrest was made in connection with the armed robbery case KMAN previously reported on, that occurred at Dara’s Conveinence Store on Claflin Road.

Around 9 :00 Tuesday evening, Riley County Police arrested Travis Bowman (22), who is listed as homeless and is associated with the area of Manhattan. He was arrested for aggravated robbery and theft. He is currently confined at the Riley County Jail and is being held on a bond of $75,000. Bowman is also being held for a “no bond” robbery warrant from the Omaha, Nebraska area.

KMAN reported on this last week, when the Bowman entered the store and demanded money from the store clerk.  Bowman presented a weapon, and after obtaining the money, he also demanded the clerk’s car keys.  Bowman drove the ’95 Chevrolet pickup to the 6600 block of Tuttle Creek Boulevard, where he abandoned it.

RCPD would like to thank the public for their assistance in the apprehension of this subject.
