The Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of a skid loader and trailer. The victim reported that sometime between 10:30 p.m. on November 16th, and 10:00 a.m. on November 17th, a 2005 Caterpillar 248B skid loader and a 2006 Redi Haul 18 foot bumper pull trailer had been stolen from a residential construction site near Appleyard Road, West of Wamego. The Cat skid loader had an enclosed cab, the seat was broken, and a padlock was on the fuel tank. The trailer is black in color, had two fold up ramps and was tandem axle. The right ramp support was bent and had stickers for United Rentals. The trailer also had a Missouri License Tag on it when it was taken.
