    Pott Co Sheriff Patch

More details were released Friday, regarding the Tuesday arrest of a Louisville man on drug-related charges.

Pottawatomie County Sheriff’ Deputies responded to Louisville Tuesday for a report of an individual in distress.  Sheriff’s Deputies while investigating this call noted a strong odor of what they believed to be an illegal drug.

Sheriff Deputies acted on this information and searched the residence associated with this odor by consent of the resident.  As a result of this search, an  unspecified amount of methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia were seized.

Arrested from the residence, 321 East Webster, Louisville was Garnett W. Cease age 35, of the residence.   Cease was transported to the Pottawatomie County Jail. Cease has since posted a $5000 bond for  possession of narcotics with intent to distribute, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
