KMAN received word earlier Monday morning that a Pottawatomie County vehicle rolled over on its side just south of Onaga, on Wheaton Road.
Pottawatomie County Sheriff Greg Riat confirmed the sand truck mishap later in the morning, saying ot occurred about 9:30. The accident reporteldy was cleared up by 11 a.m.
Riat adds the unidentified driver of the truck was taken to a medical facility for treatment although he did not know the extent of the injuries.
Sheriff Riat adds there were two other accidents in the county this (Monday) morning, but both did not involve injuries. One occurred on Onaga Road and the other on HIghway 24 and Hopkins Creek Road.

The caller indicated it could be weather related, and asked that people wishing to travel that road take alternate routes.
Update 10:45 a.m.
Authorities have indicated the vehicle was a sand truck, and the wreck has since been cleared.
Injuries from this incident are minor.
