December’s sales tax report has been released and numbers are up.

According to Bernie Hayen, Manhattan Director of Finance Bernie Hayen, “after several ups and downs throughout the year, we ended about $75,000 ahead of budget requirements, which is not quite as much as previous years.  This year’s total sales tax collections were just under last year’ss record pace.”

December totaled at $887,587 compared to $737,805 the same time last year.

Total for the year comes out to be $10,484,185 compared to $9,782,786 last year.
