A 49-year-old man convicted of sex-related charges in Geary county more than 20 years ago has apparently been passed over for parole.
Darryl Manco was convicted of indecent liberties with a child and aggravated sodomy in 1992.
He had been up for a possible December first release date, but a check with the Department of Corrections Monday indicates his next possible release date isn’t until March of 2018.
Manco was on the October public comment session list for possible parole.
