WICHITA, Kan. (AP) A man involved in a disturbance at a state parole office in downtown Wichita is in custody after spending two hours perched outside a second-floor window. The Wichita Eagle reports that a standoff with authorities ended Friday with the man falling to the sidewalk. Wichita police Lieutenant E.J. Bastian says a canopy broke the man’s fall. No parole office staff members were injured.
