TOPEKA, Kan. (AP) The state Department of Administration has developed proposals for razing one state office building near the Kansas Statehouse and selling two others.

The Topeka Capital-Journal reports that Secretary of Administration Jim Clark has scheduled a Jan. 9 meeting with area legislators to discuss the plans for the Docking, Landon and Eisenhower office buildings.

Clark says he will brief the lawmakers on proposals to raze the Docking building and sell the other two.

The Docking building is named for Robert Docking, governor from 1967-1975. It’s west of the Capitol.

The Landon building is named for Alf Landon, governor from 1933-1937 and the 1936 Republican presidential nominee. It’s east of the Statehouse.

The Eisenhower building is named for President Dwight Eisenhower and is a block north.
