The Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a burglary that took place at a business in the Green Valley Industrial Park area in East Manhattan. The burglary occurred sometime between 5 p.m. Thursday and 7:45 a.m. Friday.
Items taken from the business include both solid copper rods and solid aluminum rods of various sizes and length, varying sizes of aluminum sheeting, stainless steel sheeting, flat copper, and flat aluminum. Stainless steel sheet scraps and aluminum sheet scraps were also taken. The total estimated loss is over $16,000.
