WICHITA, Kan. (AP) Wichita police say a 70-year-old man was arrested after he accidentally shot a child in the face while showing off a gun.
Sgt. John Hoofer says the 10-year-old child who was shot Saturday night was treated and released. The man was showing the gun to two children but no one else was injured.
Hoofer says the shooting appeared to be an accident.
Police did not release further information on the incident.
