FORT RILEY, Kan. – A Soldier with Company A, 101st Brigade Support Battalion, 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, died in a vehicular-related incident Jan. 7 at a Fort Riley motor pool. Spc. Ryan T. Christensen, 29, of Layton, Utah, was a petroleum supply specialist. “Two Families suffered a great loss yesterday – Ryan’s and ours,” Col. John W. Reynolds II, 1st ABCT commander, said. “We continue to provide support to both as we begin to come to terms with this tragedy.” The incident is under investigation.
