SHAWNEE, Kan. (AP) Kansas Highway Patrol troopers are investigating the death of a pedestrian who was hit by a car as he tried to cross Interstate 435 in Shawnee.
The patrol says Shaun P. Robinson (26), of Kansas City, Kan., was walking west trying to cross the highway when he was hit Thursday night.
The driver stopped after the collision.
The patrol is working to determine why Robinson was on the highway.
