After two bid openings, and testing all of the radio equipment, Riley County Emergency Management Director, Pat Collins came before the county commission Thursday to make a request.
According to Collins, the Motorolla portable radios would best suit the county’s need for new radios.
The commission approved the request, and the radios will come out of the Fire District Fund.
