Former Executive Officer with the Flint Hills Area Builders Association, Tracy Shane Roberts (44) appeared in court Tuesday afternoon.

Roberts was arrested earlier this month for felony theft, and his bond was set at $60,000.

Judge William Malcolm set the preliminary hearing date for February 25th at 3 p.m.  The hearing is expected to last two hours.

Defense Attorney, Larry McRell commented on the fact that Roberts is currently living in Wamego and working in Topeka, but also must report to court services in Riley County every week.  McRell asked that this be changed to a monthly occurrence.

Judge Malcolm denied the request to have a monthly visit, but did approve changing it to every two weeks.
