Sunset Zoo will be closed to the public on Sunday, January 5 due to winter weather. While the Zoo is closed to the public, Zoo staff are on grounds caring for the animal collection and clearing snow from the park.

Schools are also beginning to take notice of the cold temperatures. Rock Creek Schools will have a two hour delay Monday, as a result of the winter weather.
