The official snowfall in Manhattan for the month of February ended up being the fourth highest in the history of keeping records. Climatologist Mary Knapp, who spoke with KMAN early this month after the nearly foot of snow we received then, says the total for this February was 18.6 inches.. Knapp says in looking toward the weekend more snow is expected but that will be in March. She mentions we could possibly set a new record cold high temperature on Monday, with the current record of 20 degrees set in 1910. The forecast high for Monday is only 13 degrees.
