A jammed packed edition of “Wildcat Insider” on KMAN breaks down a very busy weekend for K-State athletics with basketball and baseball in action all weekend long. The K-State men’s basketball team closed out the regular season with a loss at Bramlage against Baylor. Will play Iowa State in the quarterfinals of the Big 12 tourney on Thursday afternoon in Kansas City. Will the Wildcats be successful away from Bramlage? The K-State women close out the season with an 11-19 record and a first round loss to KU in the Big 12 tournament. Deb Patterson was released of her duties after 18 seasons at the helm of the K-State women’s program. The K-State baseball team is back to .500 at 7-7 with a sweep at home over the weekend against Iowa. Are the bat cats starting to figure things out?
