    Pottawatomie County Phone Service Disruption

    0
By KMAN Staff on April 29, 2014 Pottawatomie County

Pott Co Sheriff PatchThe Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office will experience a disruption of phone service Tuesday night from 11:00 p.m. until approximately 1:00 a.m.

During this time, calls to the Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office will be automatically routed to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office.  The reason for the outage of service is for a system upgrade.  The Sheriff’s Dispatch will still be staffed in Westmoreland and will continue to page and take radio calls.  A Pottawatomie County Dispatcher will also be present in Holton at the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office to assist with any calls coming in at that location from Pottawatomie County.

If you call 911 from Pottawatomie County during this time and the Jackson County Sheriff Dispatch answers, please relay your emergency and don’t hang up.
