A Wamego man charged in connection with last December’s shooting at Quality Inn and Suites has waived his preliminary hearing, which was to have been held Friday.
Dustin Monroe, 34, is now set for arraignment on May 22nd.
Monroe faces three counts of aggravated assault of a law enforcement officer, two counts of criminal discharge of a firearm into an unoccupied building and one count of criminal damage to property.
KMAN was on the scene of the early morning shooting at Quality Inn, with East Poyntz closed for a considerable amount of time. Monroe was injured during the Tuesday morning incident.
