    St. George Man Dies in Oklahoma Accident

    A St. George man died in a dirt bike accident Friday night in Oklahoma.  Michael “Mike” Holmes, 34, worked with his father and managed Holmes Carpet cleaning for 16 years. On March first he started the MKCC, LLC carpet cleaning and water restoration business.
     
    Holmes was well-known in the St. George and Manhattan area, and was a coach for his children’s sporting teams. He helped with the maintenance of the St.George ball fields.
     
    He is survived by his wife Kara of the home and three children. His Parents, Don and Nancy Holmes, live in Manhattan,.
     
    Funeral services will be Thursday morning at 10 at the First United Methodist church in Manhattan, with family visitation at the Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral home from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday.
