A Junction City man will serve an additional 13 months for an attempted computer crime, meaning a total sentence of more than five years with 52 months ordered for a probation violation. Phillip Neu was sentenced earlier this week in Geary County District court, and was sent to the Department of Corrections.
Neu entered a plea in mid-March in the attempted computer crime case, which involved a gift card scheme with Dillon’s in Junction City.
Also in Geary County District Court, Jason Nazario is set for a June sixth preliminary hearing in a rape case. Nazario is accused of raping a 13-year-old and was arrested by Junction City Police in December of last year.
