    An Ogden man faces charges after his arrest Wednesday morning by Riley County Police. RCPD announced Thursday morning the arrest at 8:50 a.m. Wednesday of Steven Meredith, 27, on warrants for failure to appear and probation violation. The original offense was arson and fleeing or attempt to elude.  
     
    Police made contact with Meredith in the 200 block of 9th Street in Ogden and at that time Meredith fled on foot. After a short foot pursuit officers were able to detain and ultimately arrest him. He was transported to Riley County Jail where he currently is located for the listed offenses as well as an additional offense; interference with law enforcement.
     
    His total bond is $15,000.

    A 24-year-old St. George woman has been taken into custody on a warrant for failure to appear in court. Aliyah Stephens’ original offense is listed as possession of certain hallucinogenic drugs, marijuana.
     
     Stephens bond was set at $10,000.Stephens was arrested in Sherman County by the Kansas Highway Patrol and has since addressed her warrant in Riley County.
