By Rob Voelker on June 17, 2014 K-State Sports, Sports

The Kansas City Star is reporting that K-State will play in the 2015 CBE Classic at the Sprint Center in Kansas City. The Cats will be joined by North Carolina, Missouri and Northwestern in the two night, two game tournament.

K-State and Missouri will play in the same early season tournament two years in a row as both are in the field of the 2014 Maui Invitational.

The Cats faced both Gonzaga and Duke in the 2010 CBE also at the Sprint Center.

Iowa State is the team in this year’s CBE with the closest ties to Kansas City, and will be joined by Maryland, Arizona State and Alabama.
