Kansas State Wildcat senior wide receiver Tyler Lockett has been named to the Biletnikoff Award watch list which is presented to the nation’s most outstanding wide receiver.

Lockett is one of 55 players nationally to be named to the watch list.  It’s the second straight season that Lockett has been named to the list. Lockett joins a list of former Kansas State greats who have been a candidate for the award. His father, Kevin and uncle Aaron were candidates alongside current Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jordy Nelson.

Lockett went for 1,262 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns last season which ranked in the top five in school history in both categories.

The watch list honor is the third this preseason for Lockett as he is also a candidate for the Maxwell Award and the Paul Hornung Award.
