    An Ogden man faces several charges following his arrest by Riley county Police early Thursday morning. Steven Meredith, 28 was taken into custody while in the 400 block of Walters Drive in Manhattan at about  12:05 AM. Meredith was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear as well as additional offenses of fleeing and eluding, interference with law enforcement, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, reckless driving, and driving on a suspended driver’s license.
     
    Meredith’s bond was set at $20,000.
     
    Police also arrested Bridget Gakle, 29, of Ogden for possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Gakles’ bond was set at $5,000. 
     
    Police attempted to stop Meredith, who was the driver of the vehicle in order to address an active warrant when he attempted to elude them. He eventually stopped his vehicle and fled on foot for a short distance before officers detained and arrested him.

    A 31-year-old Manhattan man was taken into custody by Riley county Police on a Geary County warrant for failure to appear. Kevin Brown was arrested while in the 1100 block of Colorado Street in Manhattan. Brown’s bond was set at $10,000. He was arrested on Wednesday at approximately 4:25 PM.
