While no injuries were involved, an aircraft accident was reported at the Manhattan Regional Airport Monday. The Kansas Highway Patrol reports a Mooney Aircraft was on approach to the airport, when the pilot neglected to deploy landing gear. The pilot has been identified as Douglas Ward, 56, of Iowa. Again, he was not injured.
The accident was reported shortly before 1:30 Monday afternoon
