Katie Brand posted 28 assists, nine digs, and a team-high five blocks. Sophomore Kersten Kober, in her first career start at libero, led K-State (2-0) with ten digs.
South Dakota (0-2) was topped by Kendall Kritenbrink’s 13 kills, as she became the Coyotes’ all-time leader in kills. The Wildcats held USD to a .124 hitting percentage, while Brand led them to a .345 effort.
