Beginning Monday, the Casement Road and Marlatt Avenue intersection will be closed to thru traffic. The closure will begin after 3 p.m. and will extend from the intersection to Silo Place. Access to Brookglen Street from Casement will be closed but should reopen by Aug. 10.
Drivers should follow the designated detour route, and if alternate routes can be taken, the City encourages motorists to seek them in order to avoid delays on this roadway segment. As always, the City reminds travelers to drive slowly, obey all posted traffic control signs and use caution around the work zones.
Casement Road and Marlatt Avenue intersection improvements are expected to be complete by Friday, Sept. 5.
