K-State just missed the top 25 in the preseason coaches poll, checking in as the third highest team in the receiving votes category.

The Wildcats got 37 votes and are one of six Big 12 teams to make an appearance. Kansas (#5) and Texas (#10) are both in the top ten, and Iowa State (#14) isn’t far behind. Oklahoma (#19) also made the top 25, and Baylor received two votes.

The Wildcats were picked fourth in the Big 12 by the league’s coaches. The season starts on November 9th with an exhibition game against Washburn.
