After two straight early mornings, the Wildcat Nation will get an evening contest next Saturday.
On Sunday morning, the Big 12 Conference announced that the Wildcats’ home game with Oklahoma State has been selected for broadcast by ABC, and will kickoff at 7:00pm from Bill Snyder Family Stadium.
K-State is 6-1 on the year, and sits atop the conference at 4-0 after shutting out Texas on Saturday. You can see the video wrap up here. Meanwhile, Oklahoma State was humbled at home by West Virginia 34-10. The Cowboys come to Manhattan next weekend with a 5-3 mark, and at 2-3 in conference play.
Next Saturday is “Cats for Cans” day at Bill Snyder Family Stadium. Fans are encouraged to bring non-perishable items to donate to the Flint Hills Breadbasket. Student athletes will collect the donations in the parking lots before the game. You can also make cash donations.
Even with Saturday’s shutout of Texas, K-State remained #11 in both the Associated Press Sportswriters Poll and USA Today Coaches Poll this week.
