    Riley County Police executed a search warrant and made an arrest related to drugs in the 1300 block of Yuma Street in Manhattan on Monday at approximately 9:30 AM. Richard Smith, 40, of Wichita, Kansas was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond wasset at  $7,500.

    Also taken into custody Monday was Anthony Murphy, 49, of Manhattan on a probation violation, with no bond set. While the original offense is not listed, KMAN records indicate Murphy was arrested more than a year ago in an aggravated robbery and battery case. According to Tuesday’s RCPD arrest report, Murphy was picked up in the 1300 block of Poyntz Avenue shortly after 7:30 p.m.
