    Riley County District Court

Kaywaun Washington, Rasheem Wilson, and Ortegas Tune were in Riley County court on Monday afternoon in connection with charges associated with an alleged incident that occurred in Manhattan involving firearms, kidnapping, and a burglary of a local Manhattan man’s residence.

According to police reports in October the trio were involved in an incident that included kidnapping two Manhattan women at gunpoint, and using them as bait to kidnap and rob a Manhattan man.  All three will be tried separately in Riley County court.

On Wednesday 25-year-old Kaywaun Washington was arraigned, and was set to appear for his next status hearing on January 20th at 2:30 pm.

26-year-old Ortega Tune waived his right to a speedy trial, and will appear for a status hearing on January 26th at 2:30 pm.

26-year-old Rasheed Wilson also waived his right to a speedy trial, and will appear on the same day as Tune at 2:30 pm in front of Judge Meryl Wilson for a status hearing.
