Ferenz currently is being held at Lansing and his earliest possible release date is September of 2038.
Also to be argued on Tuesday, January 13th, before the state Court of Appeals is the Gregory Chambers case from Riley County, in which the 45-year-old was convicted on cultivation of marijuana and possession charges. Chambers is held at Norton and his earliest possible release date is November of 2019.
