A brother/sister couple originally from Salina have been passed over for parole in a prominent Geary County murder case from the late 1990’s. Dana Flynn,53, is not eligible for release until January of 2019. Flynn is now incarcerated in Topeka. Her brother, Mikel Dreiling’s (42) next possible release date is December of 2016. Dreiling is currently being held in Hutchinson.
The two were sentenced in early 1997 in the death of Randall Sheridan in 1992. Five shotgun blasts were reportedly involved.
Dreiling’s public comment sessions were held in October, with Flynn’s in November.
