For the third time in a year, PEO Chapter IW of Manhattan has been able to provide a continuing education grant to a local student. MATC Nursing Student Lindsey Krajkoski of  Junction City was presented with a $1,200 check Thursday at the Manhattan Area Technical College. Krajkoski hopes to finish her RN education by May.

The local committee considering Krajkoski’s application included IW Continuing Education Chair Cathy Scroggs, Kris Stafford, Carl Keltner, and Jackie Mershon.

Other successful applicants nominated by Chapter IW this past year have included Tiffany Lund of Clay Center, who is close to completion of the Associate of Applied Science Degree in Business Support Services with an accounting emphasis, also at MATC, and Colleen Musil of Eskridge, who earned her degree in the Manhattan Christian College LEAD Program.
