    Manhattan Splits at Seaman to Open 2015

    The Manhattan high girls lost their first game of the season 72-63. Caroline Ballard led the way for MHS with 16 points and Amara Ehie pitched in with 14 points. Tatyana Legette poured in 30 points for Seaman as the Lady Vikings connected on 54% from the field including 6-9 from behind the arc. (MHS girls drop to 4-1, 1-1)

    The Manhattan High boys remained undefeated, in a back and forth game all night the Indians were perfect from the free throw line on the night which helped MHS pull away from the Vikings 69-62. Gabe Awbrey hit his season average for points with 18 to lead MHS. Trevor Hudgins pitched in with 13 and Pierson McAtee had 11 points. (MHS boys 5-0, 2-0)

    The Indians are back at it Friday night on the road at Topeka High. KMAN we’ll have coverage starting at 5:45.
