Onaga police are currently investigating a bomb threat that took place late this morning at Onaga High School.According to Onaga Police Chief Daniel Costlow, the Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Department received word of the threat at 10:42 a.m. Tuesday morning. The city chose to evacuate both the school and hospital as a precaution.
Costlow said police have no reason to believe there is any validity to the threat at this time and that they’re currently questioning a person of interest in the incident.
Sheriff Greg Riat says a boy under the age of 14 was arrested then released to his parents after being booked.
