Inmates convicted in connection with three Geary county cases are up for public comment sessions and possible parole.
Tabor Adkins, 67, was convicted for cases in 1983 of attempted murder in the first degree, aggravated kidnapping, and aggravated sodomy.
Terry Kirchoff, 49, was convicted for involuntary manslaughter in 1987, as well as criminal damage to property in Geary County in 1985, and aggravated burglary and rape cases in the early 1990s in Lyons County.
The final inmate up for possible parole is Carlos Rodriguez-Martinez, 44, whose conviction was for indecent liberties with a child in 2010.
Public comment session will be held March 11th at the Derby Police and Courts facility, March 16th at Kansas City’s City Hall, and March 20th at Topeka’s Municipal Court house. Parole hearings for the three are set for April, with the earliest possible release in May.
Kirchoff is being held at the Norton Correctional Facility, while Adkins is in Hutchinson, Kans., and Rodriguez-Martinez is in Larned.
