Pott Co Sheriff PatchThe Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office issued a press release Tuesday afternoon regarding a theft that was reported on Monday.
Law enforcement responded to the area of Roepke Road and Excel Road, in rural Manhattan, for a reported theft of an enclosed trailer from a job site.  Construction crews discovered that sometime between Friday, March 20th to Monday, unknown individuals had taken a white 12 foot single axle enclosed trailer with rear and side doors.
At the time of the theft, the trailer had black lettering of VPS on the sides.  It displayed a blue Kansas exempt trailer plate and contained concrete tools and anchor bolts.  The total estimated loss is around $35,000.
Anyone with information about this crime is being asked to contact the sheriff’s office at 785-457-3353.
