A preliminary hearing has been set for a Manhattan man facing 24 different charges, including vehicle theft and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Jeremy Spaur appeared in Riley County Court on Tuesday afternoon for a status hearing.
His case was set for a two hour preliminary hearing, to be held on May 15th at 10 a.m. in Judge William Malcolm’s courtroom.
Spaur made a request for the court to consider bond reduction. Prosecuting State Attorney, Bethany Fields said there are warrants for Spaur and because of this, it is not protocol to reduce the bond.
Spaur commented, “I just bonded out on a $50,000 bond and they gave me another bond saying I did something. That’s outrageous if you ask me.”
The request for bond reduction was denied.
