    More details were released Monday regarding a rape arrest KMAN first told you about early Saturday morning. Riley County Police indicate Friday afternoon at approximately 4:00 PM Lamont Cox, 24, of Manhattan was taken into custody for rape and aggravated criminal sodomy.
    As earlier announced, Cox’s bond was set at $500,000.
    The victim in this investigation was listed as a 5-year-old female and police were told this crime occurred in March of this year. Due to the nature of this crime no further information has been released.

    A Junction City woman was arrested by Riley County Police Sunday evening on a warrant for failure to appear. Marion Robinson, 32, was taken into custody at the Riley County Police Department at about 7:35 PM Sunday.
    Robinson’s bond was set at $7,500 and the warrant originated in Geary County.
