    Flint Hills Discovery Center Holds Go See It! Lectures

    The Flint Hills Discovery Center will host a lecture series about destinations to visit in the Flint Hills. The first Go See It! lecture of the year will be hosted Thursday, April 16 from 6:30-7:30 p.m.. The lecture will feature a guest historian from the Council Grove area who will tell unique stories of Morris County, including the Santa Fe Trail and famous trees native to Kansas.

    The second lecture will be held May 21 from 6:30-7:30 and feature a historian from the Chase County Historical Museum who will discuss attractions near Cottonwood Falls.

    The go see it lectures are free to the public and aim to prepare participants to explore Flint Hills attractions. Other lectures in the series include wine making, home brewing and sustainable food. More information can be found at flinthillsdisovery.org.
