The opening game of the Big 12 Conference Baseball series between Kansas State and Texas Tech has been moved up to a 3 p.m. start on Friday at Tointon Family Stadium.
The game between the Wildcats and Red Raiders was originally supposed to begin at 6:30 p.m. but with a 50 percent chance of rain in the weather forecast, the decision was made to shift the start to the afternoon. Rain is also in the forecast for Saturday and Sunday but no decision has been made at this time as to the status of the two remaining games of the series.
Pregame coverage will begin on KMAN at 2:30 p.m. from the K-State Sports Network.
